25 weeks

The first one below is her profile at 25 weeks and the second one is her profile at 20 weeks....crazy how big of a difference. She got way bigger!

Our doctors appointment went great! Everything checked out and she is a very healthy baby girl, I was glad to know that. I was glad to get to see her again but I was a little anxious to make sure she was perfectly healthy. She weighs 1lb and 11 ounces so shes doing great, the u/s lady said she was in the 50th percentile for how far along I am so I was glad to hear that. She also recommended that we move our 3D 4D sono up a week. She said she just thought we would get better pics/results if we moved it up a week. I guess they used to do them when girls were farther along but now they suggest to do it at the beginning of the 3rd trimester so the baby has a little bit more room to move around and they can get better pics. We made it for May 5th so a week from tomorrow we will hopefully get some good pics and a CD. I will be sure to post and share them!

Just a few pics from my bday celebration....yes we went to Olive Garden my favorite!!

Brad got me a cookie cake that said, "Happy Birthday Mommy, Love Brad and Lexi." I ate four pieces! It was really good, had to splurge on my bday. It's pink and brown like the colors of her nursery and he had them put polka dots on it but they ended up looking kinda funny.

24 weeks-end of the 2nd trimester

Easter Pics and my six month belly. I'm not gonna lie I had a break down moment that I am gaining too much weight and look fat but Brad helped me get out of my funk pretty quickly. I should have stood by my pregnant sis and not my skinny mom :)

In two days we will get to see our little princess again, I can't wait! I will post the u/s pics so you all can see them. We bought her a few books this past weekend and have been reading to her every day. This month is actually going by pretty quick so we'll see how the rest goes. Enjoy the pics!

23 Weeks

Well, I got some pretty good news at my doctors appointment this week. We got to hear her heartbeat again and it was 160 and she has been moving around even more this last week. Brad actually got to feel her kick so that was exciting for him. She was moving around a lot Tuesday night and Brads hand was on my stomach when she kicked really hard so we had a moment. :) I also got to see my stomach moving up and down from her moving for the first time and that was really amazing!!

I asked my doctor how soon he would induce me and he said that he will induce me July 28
th if I am ready. He said 37 weeks is full term but most girls need the extra few weeks. I was pleased with his response though, he told me that he would schedule me an appointment to be induced on the 28th and check me consistently before that and if I wasn't effaced at least at 80% he would cancel the appt. and probably induce me the following Tuesday August 4th which would be my 40th week. Of course I want her to be here as early as she can be (as long as she is ready) so I was all for July 28th, even though its only a few days difference I still like the idea of July instead of August. I told my doc we have a lot of August birthdays in the family and I want her to have her own special month. :) I know I could always go into labor on my own which would be great as long as it was on or a little before August 7th. I am not a fan of going past my due date since I was almost a ten pound baby and plus my doc doesn't like his patients to go past their due date either so it works out for both of us.

Every time I have an appointment I like my doc even more he is so great. He's very attentive and responsive to all our questions and concerns, I will be disappointed if he doesn't deliver her. We made our next u/s for April 22nd so only a week from Wednesday, its my next big milestone!! We also made our 3D 4D one for May 15th so lots to look forward to.

22 Weeks

Weeks 21-24 (Month 5): Papaya

Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

These next few weeks will be exciting, next week I get to hear her heartbeat again and in two weeks I will get to see her again....yay!! My birthday is this month so that just adds to the excitement even though I'm not real excited about turning 24.

We are going out of town to Brad's grandmas today so it kinda makes a short weekend but at least it keeps me from shopping again today or tomorrow :) I will post a belly pic in a couple weeks its definitely getting bigger these days!!!!
