Well we saw a cheeseburger, thats right my uncle was wrong we are having a baby GIRL! We have our u/s pics to prove it, we are still kind of in shock but both very happy. The baby was up on a huge flat screen and the nurse pointed and asked us all if we could tell what it was.....I was kinda looking at it like well it doesn't really look like anything is hanging but I just thought it was a boy. We all said boy and she typed Its a girl on the screen with an arrow pointing to the three lines. She asked why we thought it was a boy and we told her that I had a sono at 16 weeks and my uncle thought it was a boy. She said that ob doctors aren't very good at telling the sex and it is much more accurate when you have someone that specializes in u/s telling you. I can't say I am disappointed to be having a girl and not a boy but I did get kind of used to having Aiden so I hope he does come along some day. :)
I feel like its a brand new pregnancy or something its hard to explain but I'm so excited to switch gears. I actually took some of my boy clothes back tonight and thought I would go crazy and spend more but I didn't. Most of everything I wanted was really picked over and they didn't have small sizes and everything else was spring dresses or outfits that I didn't want to buy her because she will be here late summer so she wouldn't be able to wear any of it. I am hoping in the next month they will come out with more summer stuff and I will buy her some dresses for church. I can't wait she will have a bow(s) at all times, good thing my niece has tons so I can borrow some from my sis. I did buy her a little pair of pink shorts and onesie to match for the summer and I also bought her some pink pants that have ruffles on the butt and at the bottoms with two onesies one that says, Princess in Training and the other says Super Cute. I also remember seeing some really cute little skirt outfits from JCPenny a couple weekends ago so I am crossing my fingers that when I go back Friday they will still have them, not only are they extremely cute but they are newborn sizes!!
I got my bedding today and my mom and I are going to take it back this weekend and get the pink. I will have to wait another couple weeks to get it but thats ok I'm sure I will register and do some more clothes shopping to keep me busy.
The baby weighed 11 ounces and the nurse said she was right on target. Their were a few things that she wasn't able to check because the baby was in awkward positions so I have to make an appointment after April 18th so she can do another u/s and check the liver and kidneys. I am excited about getting to see the baby again but I want to know she is perfectly healthy asap. We did ask her a few times about it being a girl and she said she was 400% sure it was a girl and that if she even has a question about the sex then she will tell you she doesn't know. So here we go starting to prepare for Lexi's arrival!!!

I was soooo shocked when I read your text!!! I am so happy for you guys. You explained it perfectly--- I bet it does feel like a whole new pregnancy beginning. Little Aiden will come someday--but now is Lexi's time. :) I know your heart always wanted a girl, then was excited that it was a boy, and now is excited that its a girl. Funny how no matter what we have, we are just as happy! I can't wait to meet her! I think Jaxson is going to love her... don't tell Brad. I don't want him already having "the daddy talk" with Jaxson. lol!
Can't wait to tell my Alexis when she gets home from school, she will be so excited. Congratulations again, shopping is such hard work. Have fun :)
Well, well, well!!! Look at you now :)! We are very happy for you. God has not forsaken his promises - his word tells us that he will give us the desires of our hearts as we seek him first and put our trust in him. What an amazing journey so far. Beautiful little Lexi. I can see her now. I am proud and stand in awe of God's love.
