My work had a shower for me last Thursday and it was so nice! I got so many cute things and we got our big car seat and all of our sheets that we registered for. We have gotten so much from all our showers it has been amazing. We really don't need to buy anything else right now, we may have to buy Brad a base for his car but we are going to wait a little bit since we are both taking 12 weeks off after the baby is born its not something we need to rush out and buy. Last week I did some major organizing in her room so everything is in place and ready to go! Her dresser, closet and the guest room closet is full of her clothes. She will be wearing a lot of different outfits that's for sure.
My sis had a bow party this past Thursday night too and I bought her some more bows. I can't wait for her to be here so I can dress her up and always have a bow on her. I decided to have a bow party of my own so I am thinking the end of September, I don't have a set date yet. I will probably get her some fall dresses to wear to church and need bows to match them! :)
This past week our house has been extremely hot, our air just can't keep up with this hot weather so we had it looked at and we are getting a new a/c unit this Saturday. Its not really what I want to spend money on but I will be happy to have a cool house now and after the baby comes. Seems like we could always be doing something to our house, its never ending with projects we want to do.
I had a doctors appointment today and it was a little disappointing but I was kinda expecting it to. I measured at 34 weeks so I am right on target but my doc said that if the baby does not come on her own then he will probably induce me August 4th not July 28th. I will only be 38 1/2 weeks on July 28th and he does not want to take the chance. I will be 39 1/2 on August 4th so he thinks I will be ready to go if I haven't had her already. He said I could do it on July 31st when I am 39 weeks but hes not on call that weekend so it would be another doctor and he knew I wouldn't want to do that so looks like I will probably be pregnant for awhile longer. August 4th is five weeks from tomorrow so its really not to bad. Her being healthy is the most important thing really so whatever it takes for that to happen I can do it! I have to admit I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable, its like in just this last week I have gotten huge and any position gets uncomfortable after awhile. I was trying to walk some and get exercise but that is getting less and less appealing with the weather and my growing belly. I thought I was starting to go to the doc every week after today but he said I didn't need to come next week so I go back on July 14th to get tested for Strep B and then I start my once a week after that and he will start checking my cervix...yeah!!
We have a lot going on in July so I am hoping it goes by fast and I will soon have our baby girl in my arms!!

Hang in there sis - u can do it! Less than 5 weeks now and we will have our baby to love, hold and care for.
Almost done~ doing good! I think July 31st sounds like a splendid day, only Princesses are born on that day....that is my Birthday!
