Friday Brad's boss asked him if he would help out so he went into work and I took her up to see him in the purple outfit with the big bow. Her onesie says, "I'll always be daddy's little girl". They all loved her and said how adorable she is!! :) She did look pretty cute in her purple flower. Then Saturday night we took her the grandma and grandpa's for the first time in her drama queen outfit. My mom has a little swing we put her in and she loved it. She was pretty worn out when we got home cuz she slept a solid 5 hours without waking up.
Then Sunday we took her to church in the cutest dress ever!! It was so emotional and amazing to stand up and worship God as I was holding her in my arms. Giving thanks to God that he gave her to us. He has blessed us so much lately it's amazing. She hasn't done much this week but eat, sleep and poop (she does not have tummy aches she poops all the time!!) But, I will say she is pretty strong for a newborn she already has pretty good control of her head for most babies I have held her age. I'm trying to start getting on the after baby readings now instead of what happens during pregnancy. Not as much time these days. Tomorrow she has a doc appointment and I have lots of questions. I try not to worry and freak out about every little thing but shes so little and new, I know I have a lot to learn. :)

Oh I love her!! As I was leading worship I looked down at one point and saw you with one hand raised, the other holding your sweet baby from God and it made me cry. Life is such an amazing gift from God- being a mommy is the best thing ever! I am so glad God gave you Lexi to get to experience being a mommy for the first time with. And don't worry...we all still have a lot to learn! Never be afraid to ask questions. I think my doctor may have my phone number memorized. :)
What an amazing journey, sis. Alexis is everything and more than we could have ever imagined, huh? I am very proud of you, you continue to be a blessing to me. Thank you for going through so much to give life to little Lexi. She is loved so very much!! :)
Looking forward to watching her grow and learn, but right now, just want to enjoy this little newborn stage. So precious! :)
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness..
