Things have gone so smoothly this time I feel like it's too good to be true sometimes. My appointment was awesome again today. Almost all of my follicles have reached maturity and are ready to be extracted Thursday. With Lexi we only had 14 eggs and only two ended up being usable so this time I am looking for a lot higher number. Brad gave me my HCG trigger shot tonight at 8:15 and I will say that I hope it's the last time I ever have to take that one again. It's a thicker needle and it has to be an inch and half long and given in my butt. Not fun!! Very worth it though. :)
Today was also nice b/c we got all the dates of our upcoming events. Thursday is the ER and then they will call me everyday until the transfer Tuesday and let me know how our embryos are progressing. After Tuesday's transfer I have to get my blood drawn and then it's a bit of a waiting game I will go in on August 5th to take a pregnancy test. That is the day before Lexi's birthday party so it will be a busy week for us. :) I might have to sneak to the store next week and buy some at home pregnancy tests. I do plan on keeping it to myself this time though, Brad and I both said we wanted to let everyone know in a more fun way this time than just calling. :)
Thanks for all the prayers, keep them coming! I know God is in control and cares about the deepest desires of our hearts, yet not my will but yours Lord!!
